amazing article on the geopolitics of oil. i heard william bennet say on tv today that we were morally justified in going into iraq. but isn't the whole point that we were being lied to the whole time? if it was moral justification that gave us legitimacy and not weapons of mass destruction, then why didn't they just say so right from the beginning? on a more lighthearted note... ever seen one of these?
me either. but i found this lil' epson vending machine tucked away in the convenient mart at a shell service station. put in a couple thousand colones and out pops a fresh new print cartridge, so you can run back home and finish printing out those party pics. hmmm.... weird. as john travolta once said... "it's the little differences". what i want to know is why we don't have vending machines for the really important stuff? toilet paper, hazelnut coffeemate, beer, fresh hot burritos, the latest dvds, and disposable cell phones (i lose a cell phone or drop it in the drink at least once every couple months... expensive habit). now that would be a vending machine with a line around the block. (at least on my block.) today i'm going to do a little work on the scout. it's time to get the hell out of costa rica. ps. what the hell is this? all i can say is... this guy has a lot of balls driving around here in this little thing. its a frigging war zone on the roads around here. for a second i considered letting jesse squash him like a bug, but then ... no... let him live another day....
